LG aimed to enhance audio experiences with the launch of the LG XBoom 360 and LG XBoom Go speaker systems. The LG XBoom 360 delivers 360-degree sound, providing an immersive audio environment that fills the entire room. It caters to users who seek a premium audio experience for their parties or gatherings. On the other hand, the LG XBoom Go series emphasizes portability and durability, offering compact yet powerful Bluetooth speakers that are ideal for outdoor activities.

THE BRIEF

LG’s objective with these speaker systems was to provide versatile options for different audio needs, be it creating an immersive ambiance or enjoying music on the go, thereby enriching the user’s audio enjoyment in various settings.

Our brief was to create trust and engagement while increasing sales and momentum, through ratings and reviews, right after the product launch.

THE APPROACH

Our LG Portable Speaker was launched after the product announcement in the United States. Within less than 24 hours we received hundreds of tech-savvy Insiders who were interested in participating.

THE STRATEGY

We created a fast-paced and engaging opportunity for Insiders. We selected lifestyle images that were interesting to the eye to create curiosity and engage in conversation.

Insiders were provided with a Campaign Guide with all the product and campaign details. We also aided in customer service while training our Communications Team on how certain features of the product operated.

We moderated all reviews received and encouraged social media posts, which lead to an increased engagement of the community.

HIGHLIGHTS

Over the 6-week campaign period, we were able to over-deliver Review Content by 143% and achieve 65% of User Generated Content within all reviews. Our average rating was 4.9 and our average word count exceeded 163 words against organic reviews.
