THE BRIEF
Nespresso added a new addition to its Vertuo device range – Vertuo Next. This
fantastic machine offers 5 cup sizes so you can enjoy over 30 coffee blends in five cup sizes from Espresso 40ml – Carafe 535ml.
To support the device sales, Nespresso Germany entrusted Insiders E-Commerce UGC solution with the aim to drive wide review coverage on its D2C and e-tailers.
THE APPROACH
We announced the campaign to our full German Insiders community. The response was fantastic with so many coffee lovers sharing their enthusiastic entries to join the campaign.
We applied sharping targeting filters to select the most motivated Insiders. The selected few received their devices to try, at the comfort of their own
homes.
THE STRATEGY
Insiders UGC Community engagement team created a fantastic experience for the participants by helping them discover all the product features. In addition, we stimulated participants to create different coffee types (lattes, cappuccinos…) and to share these with their family and friends. Once Insiders got a handle on the device, they started crafting detailed experience reviews on selected e-commerce sites.
HIGHLIGHTS
Over the 4-week campaign, our engaged Insiders created reviews on 7 different e- commerce sites, and we achieved 142% of our KPI. Next to this, the average rating was an encouraging 4.4 stars. This detailed product experience was also useful in uncovering usage insights. A wealth of data was collected in the process from frequency of usage, type of coffee preparation, product likability factors (simplicity of usage was something Insiders loved about this device), overall opinion and NPS! As we said, it was a treasure of insights!
